Standard Bank *****
Good day, It is with great concern that our company called Standard Bank ***** Division about a ********** invoice that we paid.
We made the phone call on the 14th of October 2022 at 11:28am and they confirmed that they had frozen the account that the money was paid into and would do an investigation.
As requested, we supp**** Standard Bank with our Police Case Number / Affidavit / proof of payments including their own ***** case number given to us.
We strongly feel that the funds were not released by Standard Bank as the suspect (Standard Banks Client) called us on the 15th of October 2022 at 13h52 asking us what they need to send us to release the funds to him.
It has been a living hell trying to get any form of communication from them over the last 11 days.
Today I instructed two of my staff to send an influx of emails to anyone in Standard Bank including Sim Tshabalala. who would be able to assist us with information our funds that were supposedly frozen. For the first time at 13h00 today I received a call from my bank informing me that the funds have been released to the ********** company which is a Standard Bank client.
I strongly believe that the only possible way our funds were released would have been done by someone who works within Standard Bank to assist this *********.
The name of the company that de*****ed us is: LOLI NGWANE INVESTMENTS (PTY) LTD. Standard Bank account number ***, Woodmead Branch.
It is now up to us to go through this severe frustration of applying for a SECTION 205 to obtain all statements and necessary documents from Standard Bank in order to continue with our case. With all legal fees and running costs.
I am very unhappy and disgusted with Standard Bank and its management. We will not be able to recover from this loss!!!
If they could have informed us from the beginning that our funds were released, we could have informed the police sooner that the money is gone! Instead of keeping us on hold every time we phoned and saying they cannot advise us if our funds were still frozen from when we inititially opened the case.
• SAPS Case Number: CAS259/10/2022 • Payment made into STD Bank Account number: *** • Payment from ABSA Bank Account umber: *** • Amount paid: R915,885.50 • STD Bank Case Number: ***
Regards, Mac Magill
