Recently moved to the UK. 3 months in Standard Bank freeze my accounts - they want Fica Docs. They have them. Will only take originals - wants me to courier them. I am not able to access my funds - but need to pay a notary to certify and a courier, thousands of rands, to send documents to a bank which has all my details, whom I have been banking with for decades.

I am now stranded and unable to pay for anything, unable to survive, but I have ample funds locked away from me by my *********** bank.

I find this near ******** and an infringement of my rights. As soon as I have begged enough money to send you the documents I am going to re-open my bank accounts and I intend to take legal action against Standard Bank.
