Standard Bank ******ion
I have had a credit card with Standard Bank for a number of years. My interest rate was 16.50% in September 2017, the next month it jumped to 19.50% without warning or notification. It is now on 19.16%. I always pay more than I owe and I have not purchased anything since March 2017 as I am trying to get out of debt. I have not been able to get any satisfaction from the call centre, except for one lady to say that I can have an interest rate review every six months! This is ******ion and of course it is impossible to speak to anyone in management. I want this overcharge to be reversed and I will be going to the Ombudsman.
