Standard Bank Estates do not act professionally

As has been noted on this site previously by both myself and other users, Standard Bank Estates Department are useless and do not provide a professional service. They are however adamant on collecting the Estate fee, but do not ensure the Estate is closed out properly. In my case they did not ensure property tittle deeds were forwarded to the Estate beneficiary and now claim it is too late for this, and that it was the accountability of the transferring attorneys to do this. Yet Standard Bank selected the transferring attorneys and were paid a management fee to ensure the Estate was closed out properly. To rectify this, Standard Bank should source the property deeds at their own time and cost, but deny all responsibility for this. I strongly advise that you do not consider using them as your Estate Executor.
