Standard Bank estate failure

Made the mistake of my life to appoint Standard Bank as the executor of the estate of my late wife. Going for 2 years now and still nothing but empty promises. 20 July 2021 Standard Bank inform that they received all documentation and that the estate onboarding process started. Fast forward to 18 May 2022, Standard Bank informed me that they cannot find any trace of any of the documents i send them nearly a year ago, on top of that they also cannot find any proof that the person assigned to the estate did anything. The entire process start from the beginning, had to resend all the documentation again. Got promised that this will be finalised ASAP and that i will receive updates at least once a month. Now we are in April 2023, a lot more empty promises and still no commitment from Standard Bank that this estate will be finalised soon.
