Standard Bank Estate Department not worth the wait

Standard Bank Estates: What a useless department. Standard Bank Estates did my dad's estate about 11 years ago, and we were very impressed. Old Mutual contacted my mom last year stating there is still some funds available from a pension fund. We asked Standard Bank Estates to assist again as we were happy with their service the first time around. Well, things have definitely changed in 11 years. We have to beg and plead for updates. Even after I contacted the Manager, we still have to beg for feedback. It took them 3 months just to do a liquidation account for measly amount even though Langa told me "this doesn't take long". Maybe that's exactly it - it's such a small amount that they are not too concerned about getting this done. Unfortunately, it might be a small amount to them but it's some money for a pensioner who needs these funds. Standard Bank Estate Department - sorry but I will never again recommend you.
