standard Bank Estate Department

An Estate file was opened for the Deceased in January 2021 by Nomthandazo Gumede in Durban Branch, we had an interaction with Nomthandazo for about 3 to 4 months and the file was moved to Johannesburg and it's was allocated to Dipou Segage around May 2021, all documents that were need were submitted,the file was lodge with Master of High Court, an adverti*****t was done , Letter of Executorship was granted , Liquidation and Distribution accounts was opened early last year 2022 . We waited for the Late Estate account to be opened but nothing. File was then allocated to Celise King for 2months there was no progress at all , around that 2months we were told that the person who was appointed as an Executor has resigned a new appointment letter has to be Sent to Master for approval . We never received any communication as to whether the new Executor has been appointed or not. Around last year October we learnt that the file Has been allocated to the 4th person Jo Anne Gallstone. She hardly replies to her emails her landline is not answered. I tried numerous times to email Ralda Buys the Manager ,my emails are never rep****

It's has been 2 full years since the file was opened going on 3 years but ,there's no progress. Deceased left 2 minor children. And were told that if the Estate involves minors ,it's usually takes about 18 months for the Estate to be winded up, 18 months has lasped. From January 2021 today it's the 5th of April 2023 ,the Estate has not been finalized.

It's has been an emotionally draining journey with Standard Bank. How long are we supper to wait ,how long does it take for en estate to be finalized. Ma I going to wait for another 2years.
