Standard Bank don't know whether or not they are asking customers to click on emailed links and give away confidential information
Banks should never ask their customers to click on links in emails. This is a common ****. Recently I received an email allegedly from Standard Bank, asking me to click on a link. Suspicious, I asked a trusted email address whether this was legitimate. Standard Bank stated categorically that it was legitimate. More recently, double-checking with other contact with Standard Bank, I was told that Standard Bank WOULD NEVER send me an email asking me to click on a link. Either Standard Bank doesn't know what it's doing, or there are Standard Bank staff colluding to ***** information (and money) from customers. Standard Bank are taking their time giving me one proper formal response. This post is an attempt to speed up the process, so any guilty parties can be brought to justice, and innocent customers can be protected from this **** originating within Standard Bank.

Kindest regards,
On Friday, I received this email from your colleagues.
That's 9 working hours. NINE. It is now Wednesday.
Standard Bank is obviously not interested in providing any kind of customer service. All you care about is looking good on social media.
Extremely disappointing.
This review will remain on HelloPeter so people can see how you treat your customers. That is the purpose of the review. You cannot "fix" this. Your opportunity to fix it was last week when I first took to social media. In fact, before then, before I was completely ignored by your branches and contact centres, before I had to resort to social media to get a response.
Sad that this is what your organization has become.
