STANDARD BANK DON'T KNOW HOW TO UPLIFT AN INTERDICT

STANDARD BANK HOME LOANS took a judgement against my client in 1999. Subsequently, the arrears were settled but the Interdict on the property was not removed from the deeds office. The property has been sold and bank guarantees for the full amount owing on the bond have been delivered to Standard Bank's attorneys, Strauss Daly. We have asked Strauss Daly to uplift the interdict so that the transfer can proceed, but Standard Bank do not seem to understand what is required of them and have not given Strauss Daly the instructions. The request has been "escalated" and moved from pillar to post for over 2 months without any outcome.
