Standard Bank disappearing money

I transferred an amount of money from my Stand Bank check account into my Standard Bank credit card account. So this amount immediately is subtracted from my check account and ..... disappears. Only to show up in my credit card account two to three days later (depending on whether the transaction occurred on a weekend - then it takes 3 days). So for those 2 to 3 days you will panic as to the whereabouts of your money as well as not being able to use it. I took this up with Standard Bank and they said it is normal procedure for them to vanish your money for a few days and the excuse offered was \security reasons". Now i ask you: if a ***** wants to de***** me will he be paying many INTO my credit card or will he be taking money OUT of my credit card??? I don't believe this security excuse. I think SB is just bad. ABSA does both transactions immediately"
