Standard Bank deducted money from my account

<p>I have an overdue cheque account which I have been struggling to pay due to the fact that I was unemployed. Standard Bank deducted R7135.44 from my Savings account without my permission. Someone did call me at some point from the bank to ask how much I can pay the account and I told them as soon as I get a job I will start making payment from R500.00 and will increase it as time goes by until I am stable enough with my finances.</p> <p>I called the complains department and which I was told I will not be refunded as this is falls part of the policies, and I was given a reference number regarding my call. I am not happy at all as that money is urgently needed by my Family and I will not just let this go.</p> <p>The I am contacting the ombudsman because surely they would need my permission. Surely this is wrong but I am sure the ombudsman will let me know. No one told me that deduction will be made from my account .</p> <p>THIS IS NOT RIGHT AT ALL.</p>
