Standard bank debit card upgrade *******.

I've been getting SMS's telling me to update my debit card before it expires in June. So, doing the right thing, I go into Standard *ank and they tell me that they will be charging me R138 to do so as I'm early????? Why send me the reminders without telling us that the it's a trick to get us paying in a fee if we do it before it expires?? Your ethics are disgusting - will be changing banks. Standard *ank has really gone to the dogs of late.
