Standard Bank Debit card does not allow for online purchases

<p>I recently got a Standard Bank Debit card solely for doing online purchases, when i got home and wanted to do an online purchase it rejected the purchase. The next day I went into the bank to find out if there was a problem, they told me that Debit Cards can't do online purchases. This bank must be the only bank in SA that does not allow online purchases with a debit card... PATHETIC BANK. In this day an age where everything is digital. Even my Capitec Debit card works, so does my FNB Debit Card. STANDARD BANK go back to the stone ages!!</p>
