Standard Bank credit card paid but still not updated still appears as unpaid.

I settled my standard bank through their debt collectors DMC in 2010.I recently went to apply for credit and the credit card still appears as unpaid .I was told to request proof or rather the settlement letter which i did o the 10 December 2020,i emailed to Nonhlanhla Mthombeni at standard bank legal department .Yesterday 05 August 2021 i phoned standard to find out if the matter was resolved, the answer was NO, they (DMC) will log a request that will 7 to 14 days. I payed my debt why should i suffer like this? my credit record is compromised a great deal by this.
