Standard Bank Credit Card Division

I did not receive my December 2018 credit card statement by 05Dec18. I then called Standard Bank credit card division on Wednesday, 05Dec18 at 17:12 to inquire and was told that the statement should have been automatically generated. I confirmed that the only email received was for the instant payment and credit card pricing information for 2019 and no staement. The consultant then said there may have been a glitch on the system and resent me my December 2018 statement to my email, which is the only statement I did receive. When checking my credit card transaction on Saturday, 08Dec18, I now see that I was charged R25.22 for a copy statement sent. This is ridiculous as I only received 1 statement which I had to manually request when contacting Standard Bank credit card division. Seems like Standard Bank charges customers for their own mistakes in hope that it goes unnoticed. I called credit card division immediately and was issued ref. no. ********** 557 by the consultant, and was told that Standard Bank will have to investigate. I am expecting the R25.22 charge to be reversed as this is an internal Standard Bank issue which has absolutely nothing to do with me, the customer. This is ridiculous and explains how Standard Bank is trying to make up its Revenue from the loss of it's customer base.

Reviewer Update
Today is 12Dec18, and yet after receiving feedback that I would be contacted by Standard Bank, no one has bothered to get back to me. So much for great banking.
