Standard Bank credit card department cloning credit cards

Standard Bank called my husband asking if he’s interested in opening a credit card. My husband said yes. They asked for his details and whatever they needed from him. He provided. He got a call that his credit card is ready has been approved and at a certain date to go fetch it. He fetched it and when got to the bank they say they can’t link the card to his app these a problem with their system is slow. The next he receives a call from some lady from standard bank she says she’s busy trying to authenticate his details and to link the card she sends otp numbers to my boyfriend for authentication she loads R28 000 as she was talking to my boyfriend she tells him she loading the amount on the card with 3 different otp numbers. But those amounts are not showing on my boyfriend phone app. The next she says these a problem she can’t link it. The next day my boyfriend calls standard bank following up on what happened yesterday they tell him that the card has been used in Midrand while the card is with my boyfriend and the card is not working as nothing was linked or authenticated. They then told my boyfriend to report the matter at they ***** department. Today another lady calls and asks if anyone called from ***** department my boyfriend says no. How do we trust standard bank and their consultants while ********ity is happening right inside the bank.

Standard bank has send a message to my boyfriend saying they have concluded his ***** case without any call or explanation to my boyfriend as to what have they concluded or what were the findings to get to that conclusion. I mean what kind of business is standard bank running there I mean really? He trusted standard bank with his personal information and get slapped with R27000 debt. How do we trust any banking consultants where they’re the ones *****ing personal information right inside the bank to **** us? How did you come to that conclusion when R27000 is still not cleared. How is he supposed to carry on with his life knowing that he was ****med by a trusted bank like standard bank and they don’t want to take accountability for the mess they have created. ********s have access to your system and *****ing by ****ming innocent people. What are you doing about it??? NOTHING

We are still waiting on what you have concluded regarding *****ulent card cloning done by your consultants. All you know is sending these ridiculous auto replies. We need answers not your auto replies..

Now it’s still under review. You guys are a joke. But you send your client a message saying the case has been concluded:

Standard Bank: Dear Client, Your ***** case *** is now concluded. We appreciate your patience throughout this process. Should you have further queries please contact us on ***. Thank you for choosing Standard Bank.

So what was this message for if it’s still under review. Wow!

You know standard bank is a joke. This case has been reviewed and your so called reviewer is saying my boyfriend must go to his network provider to find the recording of the the lady who called him. This clearly shows how useless this bank is and their inability to solve this issue which was done internally by their staff and they can’t prove it. They’re are so lazy to their jobs as they want push the blame on someone else. . Every call from standard bank is recorded and shows standard bank division.

1. How was he supposed to know that this particular number is a ****.
2. How did she get hold of his personal information? 2. How did she know that he has app**** for a credit card?
3.The credit card wasn’t working nor linked nor authenticated at the branch as the consultant at the branch told him the system is slow but that person (****mer)was able to use it online how?
4. 3 credit cards have been printed by standard bank 1 card is *****ulent and was reported so who ordered the 2 other cards as a ***** case has been opened and still under investigation?

It clearly shows standard bank doesn’t want to take accountability nor responsibility their actions. . And this is tarnishing my boyfriend credit record and his name. His personal information has been compromised and sold by one of your bank’s staff members of which he must prove to this stupid bank that he doesn’t know anything about this so he can clear his name.

People please be aware that your personal information at this bank is not safe as well your money or any transaction in your account as it will be compromised by their staff. Please Know that when you go to this bank you’re on your own because should anything happen in your account they will push the blame on you.
