STANDARD BANK CREDIT CARD CHARGES MISINFORMATION

Standard Bank is *****ing from people who have a credit card with them. They charge a "Cash Finance Charge" on top of the standard Finance Charges on a monthly basis. I learned today that the Cash Finance Fee is apparently for the FACILITY to buy airtime, transfer monies from the credit card to another account, etc. etc. This charge started getting levied (or activated) immediately upon doing any of the abovementioned type of transactions and will be levied monthly even if none of the abovementioned type of transactions have been made. And best is, the charge is astronomical. The only way to get this facility stopped or deactivated is to settle the total card. One cannot request for this facility to be cancelled. Nowhere in Standard Bank's Terms and Conditions are any IN DETAIL specifications of this charge. Very bleak explanation that a Cash Finance Charge will apply for any cash transactions. Standard Bank Card is *****ing money from people with these charges.
