Standard Bank Credit Card a bunch of idiots!!

Have a credit card with Standard bank. Made an online purchase in Feb2022 for R200. Another transaction was processed in Mar2022 without my authorization for R2154. What frustrates me about Standard bank is that I only had an available credit of approximately R800, yet this transaction was authorized/ approved. When I contacted Standard Bank C/Card division, I was told that the transaction was approved because I am a good payer which is a bunch of hogwash as far as I'm concerned. That reason makes no sense at all!! What is the point of allocating a credit limit if Standard bank will just ignore when it suits them?I've now received my statement and have to pay an installment which I did not budget for because the bank approved this transaction!!! What about my credit profile which will show that I have exceeded the limit on my credit card?! Did Standard Bank even consider that?!
