Standard bank credit card

I have paid up my credit in 2011 and i have been trying to close it for a while now. They have blocked the credit card but they refuse to remove it from my standard bank account. I have not used the credit card since i have paid it off and i don't even have the card anymore and i never requested one from them because i didnt want it anymore. I dont know what do do anymore because the next thing they be saying i owe the credit card and i ave not received any communication regarding the card since i payed it off.
