Standard Bank Collections Department.

My husband has a RCP (Revolving Credit Plan) of which the min payment is R854. I am paying the loan as my husband does not have a fixed income. I have been paying R1,000 since October 2021. The last statement received was May 2022 and showed that the account is current and not in arrears. I paid June July but skipped August 2022 purely due to a mistake. (I pay via EFTS every month as we no longer bank with SB anymore) A collections agent phoned ME and asked to speak to my husband. Explaining that the arrear amount will be paid at the end of September 2022, she advised that she could not speak to me about the account and needed to speak to my husband. I gave her his number. He has told the consultant the arrear amount will be paid at the end of September. Every single day up to three times a day a consultant phones ME looking for my husband and asking to speak to my husband. Everytime I tell them that a consultant has spoken to my husband and they keep saying that according to their records no payment arrangement has been made. This carries on every single day. I have now again received a call asking for my husband and when I told her the same story as I have told every other consultant, she confirmed his telephone number and put the phone down in my ear while I was still talking to her. This is extemely frustrating that the same story is told to how many different consultants and still there is no record made on their system of the payment arrangement. Total incompetence!! It has now resorted to my husband no longer taking any calls from Standard Bank. Please can they just acknowledge the repayment arrangement on their systems so that these consultants stop phoning....
