Standard Bank certainly moving backwards

In July, I was called twice to upgrade my account to Titanium. I was doubtful at first but then I decided to do an application thinking that they might freeze my account if I did not. I completed my details online and was called by Amanda Mbewu who then contacted my husband after obtaining all my details for permission confirmation as we were married in community of property. She questioned him in detail as if the account was for himself and he was not very pleased about this. To date, 22 days later, I have not received a response to my application as her excuse is that there is a constant "IT error" that is preventing her from completing the application. When I requested her managers details to take it up with them, she replies that she has already escalated the matter to them and they are working on the error. I am totally disgusted at the service from Standard Bank. Why continuosly call me and put me under pressure when you cannot assist??? I am no longer interested in any further marketing products from Standard Bank and may consider moving my account due to all the inconveniences caused thus far. Definitely moving backwards instead of forwards as an IT error cannot take 22 days to rectify.
