Standard Bank Capping Bond Applications based on selection criteria

I am middle income African government employee who is a permanent resident in the western cape for the past 15 years and my business besides being a government employee is acquiring property.

What has recently transpired is that I suspect that I am being capped and always being declined for credit services in the form of a bond lately.

I am a law abiding citizen that doesn't have debt, the only debt that I have is the properties that I have which are diversified and they pay for themselves, but to my surprise at every time that I try to purchase property here in the western cape.... More especially cape town, Standard Bank is always the first one to decline me for matters that don't concern them. For instance, I am currently in the process of purchasing a farm privately from an owner and have already entered an a purchase agreement. But to my surprise standard bank sent me a declined letter sighting a court judgment of which I have handed over the supporting documents to the estate agent as proof of the matter and yet still they are forcing me to prove thing s to them that have absolutely nothing to do with them as this is a private matter.

To me this whole thing smells of ************** as the type of property and the price bracket thereof is in access of R 1 million.

To my dismay is that, colored and white citizens are able to purchase properties in access of the amount stated by most of us aspiring entrepreneurs more especially African in the middle income sector get capped from purchasing property in that segment and yet agents (including managing agents) are able to trade in property in the same bracket and there is a open market for such properties, but I always get declined sighting petty issues.

So it clearly means that certain property is only meant for a select few and not the rest of the masses residing in The City of Cape Town and that Standard Bank is only looking into financing bond application for that price bracket for preferred clients and not on the merit of individual cases.
