I walk in as the one and only client in the entire office, explain to the receptionist that I wish to close a redundant banking account, she says I should sit down and wait to be served, everyone is busy - and yet I am the one and only client in the entire branch ?

50 mins later, I have still not been served - although I am still the one and only client in the entire office. Staff in the meantime have been chatting away with one another giggling and laughing, clearly not in the least bit interested in the client patiently waiting to be served

After explaining my frustration to the receptionist, she very unenthusiastically went to one of the business agents, who proceeded to process my request - this agent had seen me walk in to the branch, not been serving anyone - heard me voicing my frustration to the receptionist after waiting patiently for 50mins, not apologised or offered any kind of recourse at all

& the best part, after all of this, I still was unable to conclude the closing of my redundant business account - after 15 minutes with the agent, she gave me an email address on a s**** piece of paper and said I should contact this person to setup an appointment

65 minutes completely wasted, and for absolutely nothing

What kind of Banking Operation is this ??
