Standard Bank bond application - pathetic

<p>Shocking service received from Standard Bank with regards to our bond application. After waiting a week for feedback, with continually no answer at the branch (Cresta) when phoning, we had to resort to physically going in to find out what was happening. Only then are we informed that one document is still needed, even though a week has passed with no progress. We supply the document immediately and wait another three days to find out that the application is still being "processed". It feels like nothing is actually being done. All this while our offer to purchase slowly ticks away as we run out of time.</p> <p> </p> <p>The lady who helped us at the branch, Sindi, was always friendly and professional and tried to help where she could, it is not her that we have an issue with, it is Standard Bank that is the problem.</p> <p> </p> <p>I've been a Standard Bank customer for almost 20yrs and this is the treatment I get :/</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
