I was notified on 4 August 2023 that Standard Bank had assisted a third party to open bank account in my name, without my knowledge or consent. The account number is 271 696 893 Branch code 025109 On 7 August 2023 I notified Standard Bank, Mr Sam Tshabalala, and the Standard Bank ***** department, that my name is indeed protected by copyright. On Friday 11 August 2023, Mr Joop Dekker rep**** on behalf of Mr Sam Tshabalala, and declined to close the account. I did NOT give consent to Standard Bank to use my name on this bank account. Sufficient time has passed for Standard bank to correct this. Should my name not be removed from this account, and proof provided within 5 days, the fee schedule as per my copyright notice will be app**** and the invoice will become payable immediately.
