Standard bank

My late father passed away in September 2011.him and my mother had a joint bond in standard Bank with some insurance in it. The instanment was deducted from my father's pay slip for 2000.bond started in 1996 for amount of plus, minus 97000. My father was also banking with standard Bank. When my father passed my mother got letter of authority to assess my father's account in standard Bank and also with the one of home loan.. A late estate account was also opened in standard Bank...home loan was still deducting instanment till February 2012. We frequent and out of the bank without knowing what my mother was doing there.. Years passed until I asked my mother if she got a tittle deed of the house then she said no then I started to enquire a month ago march 2020 and called standard Bank home loan enquiring about what happend to the loan because we don't even have a tittle deed.. I was send from one person to another with the responds of 1.when my father passes a credit life insurance was claimed and payed out amount of 74000 without notifying my mother and the bank automatically did the claim on her behalf in 2012.....2they say in 2013 my mother called and said she is canceling the bond. The bond is canceled. Then I asked how can credit life pay 74000 on a 97000 loan interest of 500 that was taken in 1996. They say my father was a bad payer.. The account was in areas.. I asked how because installments was deducted from pay slip.. Then was ask to go to the bank they can't give more information by phone... Went to the bank the next morning. Spoke to branch manager in brits and she started making calls.. Then we were told that the bond is handed to legal department.. And the bond was canceled in February 202.. Wen we asked why by who... The branch manager was advised to tell us to come after lock down we will get answers.. Today just realized that oh my mother has a car finance by standard Bank and they are busy calling her for credit card yet she is in a joint bond which is in legal department.. Like would they have picked it up when making any application? No correspondence of accont in areas or anything since 2011...
