I recently app**** for an overdraft, the initiation fee ranges from R80 to R1200 depending on the amount you qualify for. The amount can be an overdraft of R1000 up to R200000. One would assume if you qualify for R200000 you would pay the maximum initiation fee. My overdraft is R16000, and they charged me an initiation fee of R1200. This is ****************. In light of the current situation in our country standard bank cannot rob the average citizen. Please refund my money and cancel the overdraft. I will take this to the ombudsman. The most terrible bank in South Africa.
