Standard Bank are bullies the the people on the ground.
We live in a world where the richer find ways to keep the poor on the ground. I have a homeloan with Standard Bank, although became unemployeed a reality to me the past 2 years as iwas employeed and off agan. Many times i couldn't meet the payments required but all the time i managed to pay of my arrears.
Now that I have been consistently making payments for the last 4 months Standard Bank feels that they cannot enter into an agreement with me to pay the outstanding arrears. They rather cancel the bond and auction off the property sinking me in to debt leaving my family homeless.
Since I am 4months behind can I please pay 2 times the repayment amount for the next 5 months.
