Standard Bank and the Honoring Fee a****
Standard bank refuses to reverse their honoring fee they charge. Transactions cannot go off your account if there is insufficient funds even if the transaction is R1 more. Yet I'm being consistently charged either 80 now recently 200 for honoring fee. I had 919.96 in the account, made a transaction for 909 then std bank decides to take their fees the next day and as a rwsukt of R1 short they charge me 20p honoring fee! Pathetic and ridiculous! I received a payment yesterday of 600 and was shocked to see jbly 3o8 in due to the fee. I want this reversed I don't want calls I don't want anything else other than the funds reversed

Spoke to a consultant now
So if I have 800 in my account and the purchase is for 801 the bank will decline the purchase and say insufficient funds so the bank doesn't honor any purchases.
The bank are honoring the banking fees ***, they charge you a fee to honor their fee what kind of business is this. No other bank does this except std bank!!!!!!
They will get payment for their fees with the next deposit however being the greedy mafia that they are!!!!!! They to get more out of you ridiculous
