Standard Bank

Its been 7 years now that my bureau listings have been cleared as a result of my outstanding settlements being paid. I have subsequently purchased 4 property and 3 vehicles and have not once been turned away or made aware of my past credit with any of the other major banks BUT Standard bank who largely claims to be the preferred customer lending institution Is the first to through this jargon into ones face.

I have app**** for a credit card and declined because of a listing that they have that was not cleared…they are quick to take the fees upon opening my business accounts with them last week but never to slow run to past misconducts to justify their declines in spite of a credit score with EXPERIAN been a score of 678…how is this possible that a bank is not vetting the client on the past 12 or 24 months but on the past 7 years. THIS IS ABSOLUTE LUDACROUS , STANDARD BANK ….YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE CLIENTS.
