Standard Bank

Concern citizen. For your information! I had a altercation with Standard Bank where i feel people should know and be aware. Long standing supporter of Standard Bank was taken down and dumped even though the bank is insured for cases like this. I was a unsuspecting victim of mail phishing with Standard Bank U count. I was taken for 20900.00 my boys school fees. I called immediately to block the transaction but was told first to cancel the card and log a ***** case. Then some one will call me a few days time. This person stole the money and within seconds transferred it to Luno(client of Standard Bank) where it was used to buy bitcoins. Gone in 60 seconds. Lost the dispute with Standard Bank and ombartsman because of the fine print of going online banking (the bank is not responsible if your info was used through phishing). I thought banks are insured for this type of instances to cover their customers. Banks knows this is a loop hole for ********** but instead of securing their customers they find you guilty and support ******. I mean i love fishing but i dont do Phishing every day. Lost out big time and thanks to standard bank not having my back.
