Staff don't bother checking emails

I picked up a Standard Bank collections letter via the SA post office on 29 August 2015. The letter was dated 15 July 2015. I promptly sent an email to Standard Bank at the email address supp**** on the letter to explain my situation. No bounce back of email received to indicate that perhaps the address was incorrect nor was any feedback received from Standard Bank.

Today I pick up a 'Final Notice' letter from my home post box. The letter states that Standard Bank has received no reply to its previous correspondence to me. WHAT??? Read your freaking emails, please!!

So, I diligently forward my email of 29 August 2015 to a different email address list on this letter. BUT.... guess what??!! The email bounces back saying recipient doesn't exist!!! And yes, I have typed the address correctly!

I refuse to deal with Standard Bank agents over the phone, they are rude and *********** - and I'm over dealing with such aggro. Hence my insistence on email correspondence. How do I get through to Standard Bank??? Do I have to step back 50 years in time and resort to 'snail mail' like they have????

I demand a Standard Bank email address that works, please!!
