SMS informing that account is frozen
I received an SMS stating that my account has been frozen and I need to go to any branch with ID and proof of residence.
When I went to the branch the very helpful manager checked all my accounts and none had any problems.

How dare the bank send a message like that and with absolutely NO information regarding which account. It could have been a business account even.

What would have happened if I was out the country?
Why no previous sms informing that you have 10 days to sort it out?
Why even send an sms when the accounts are all correct?

It seems it was NOT a hoax as the contact number on the sms connected to the banks stupid telephone call centr
