Slow turn around time

My husband and I submitted our home loan application a couple of weeks (5th of October) through a bond originator (ooba) and have still not received a response. Our offer to purchase has since expired and this is quite disappointing considering that other banks were able to respond promptly. Irrespective of the outcome of the application standard bank must try to pick up pace . The complaints on this forum alone about slow home loan turn around time speak volumes
