Shocking - Standard Bank - Joubert & May Attorneys

It was brought under my attention that Standard Bank gave Joubert & May Attorneys a condition for the release of the bond. If we knew that this condition was put in place, we would not have agreed to proceed with the purchase. I advised Ruan Vorster Attorneys that we are not aware of this condition, we've already given notice to our current landlord and made arrangements to move into the property as soon as possible, only to find out that Joubert & May Attorneys (Acts on behalf of Standard Bank as Bond Attorneys) had information that was never communicated to parties involved, we only received 'word' of this condition today 17/02/2015. There was communication between Ruan Vorster Attorneys and Joubert & May Attorneys, however the seller and the purchaser should have been made aware at bond instruction stage of any conditions. If we knew about this condition, we would not have proceeded with the purchase. Joubert & May Attorneys said I must do as I see fit and that it is not their fault it is mine. Now the transfer attorneys is charging me almost R12 000 for Joubert & May Attorneys (Acts on behalf of Standard Bank as Bond Attorneys) lack of communication. Very unprofessional SBSA ?
