Shocking Service and complaint handling

In January i updated my debit order date for my home loan for 20th to 25th. In january this went off seamlessly.

February 26th the debit order had not gone off, i contacted STD bank to follow up, was told they don't know why it did not go off but i must do EFT or their system would charge me over R60 to debit since its after the 25th already (annoyed, but i did the EFT same day). I received 3 phone calls from the collection department thereafter demanding payment, had to explain several times that i have already transferred the money (Oh yes i can see that, did you bother checking before call *of course not*). The same evening (6:39pm) i received an email demanding payment from Mbali Xulu, i promptly responded confirming the days events and requesting an apology with an explanation for this harassment, now infuriated about this total and utter incompetence... needless to say till today i have heard nothing from my so called bank, disappointing really.

On 7th March i received an sms showing an attempted debit order, the rejection and the subsequent bank charge, again i make immediate contact with the bank. I am told there's no notes on the system confirming a debit order collection therefore it must be a system error, asked to speak to a manager (Mandy or Amanda) repeats the same thing, no indication why i was debited and i should speak to transaction department to reverse the bank charges (I MUST!!! this place is a joke) still waiting for the bank charges to be reversed, the apology letter and assurance that this will not happen again although i'm doubtful... I'm just sorry i moved my bond to STD bank .
