Shocking Insurance **** by Standard Bank

I can hardly believe that I am writing this complaint again!! Last month I posted a complaint with regards to Standard Bank Vehicle finance and their insurance **** in conjunction with Hollard. I went to the banking ombudsman who also carried the complaint forward to Standard Bank. After a few weeks of extreme inconvenience on my part and astonishing incompetence on the part of Standard Bank, I did receive an email from Standard Bank complaints to say that the **** insurance policy that had been taken out by Standard Bank/Hollard in my name without so much as me even seeing the policy or signing a thing, had in fact been cancelled and I would not have any funds taken from my account. Oh low and behold comes this last Saturday morning when I see a payment taken by Standard Bank Vehicle Finance. I called them today (Monday) and was advised that the payment was for.... you guessed it, insurance!! I am beyond disgusted with Standard Bank, if I can give anyone advise reading this DO NOT TAKE FINANCE WITH STANDARD BANK-EVER!
