Shocking Discovery

I am busy with an outside insurance that is trying to see how I can up my insurances. I gave them consent to go check all the covers that I have. And the cover for my Home Loan Protection did not show up. I then had to give them alerts that I do have the Home Loan Protection with Standard bank. They contacted Standard Bank and they got a report back from ThandiSisandaNtshangase at Standard Bank that my policy have lapsed. When I contacted Thandi to give me more info via email, she never got back to me and that was on the 16th of November 2016. Later taht day I contacted Standard Bank Insurances telephonically, I was then told by Verlene Goosen that my policy it still active and has not lapsed. When I tell her (Verlene Goosen) that I still need Thandi to explain how come she gave non existing information, Verlene dropped a call on my ear. She then sent me an email to verify that my policy is still active, without even explaining what happenned to the call we had or the conversation we were in rather. She just forwarded the mail. When I opened the attachment, the names are mine but the adress is the non existing adresss. That makes me worried if my cover do exist indeed. How come Standard do not have the adress for the cover that I have taken up with them. This makes me worry if the cover will take place should there be a need for it to honour me as the customer. And that also make me question the competency of their employees in this regard.
