Shocked at the level of service

So yesterday i received a courtesy call from Standard Bank Card Division after i made an payment to my Credit card thanking me for the payment which been in arrears. What a joke....i am speechless.........

So for the past 3 months since i made contact with Card Division basically pleading for an alternative payment arrangement and have been told bluntly you have to go into a branch for payment.....

Here is my reason as to why the account is in arrears , the process SBSA has once your account is in arrears they de-link the cards then they hand the account over to an external company. Card Division will then advise you to make contact with this external company so like a fool i phone them and then i insisted on speaking to a manager their reason being i was not happy with the answer and was basically told in an rude way that i can only pay the account by going into the branch.

I spent so much time telepbonically with card division for an alternative method of payment as the credit card has been de-link, one is also not able to perform ATM deposits nor EAP. The calls are recorded whereby i said to the consultant i just want to pay my account the branch will be closed when i finish my shift as i am employed at a hospital. So basically their is no alternate method of payment, i mean seriously now we are in the 21st century with convenient banking.

This now has resulted in my credit card being handed over and yesterday i was informed i would have to apply for a new card number as the current card number no longer exist.

So put the cherry on top for payments to be made i need to visit a branch what a total inconvenience.

I have been with SBSA for over 10 years with a great record, and because of their homeloans department which is a total other issue on its own my current status has been in shambles but i am in the process of correcting it and once all in order guess who will not be doing business with them anymore.
