Set of debit order
Good day Please note that sometime in 2017 I took out a bluebean credit card with standard bank , payments had always been made on time until a time got sick and was unable to go to work regularly and keep up with the payments,To make matters worse my employment got terminated that same year August 2017 from that time up until August 2018 I had been unemployed therefore unable to make an payments on my credit card ,I then received an email from A collection company sending a payment request on behalf of standard bank with banking details and an amount of R1500 was required as a minimum payment,Firstly there was no appropriate Arrangement made to suit both parties bare in mind at the time I had taken out the credit I earned a salary of 12 500 basic plus commission (basic based on hours worked) I am currently earning a basic of 4800,This month I received an incentive of 1000 to bring my salary to 6000 ,I was surprised that I got paid on the 26th of October and on the 27th Standard Bank made a debit or rather I use the term the sms stated, Transfer of R4546.03 off my account ,I sent an email to Standard Bank specialised Collections centre the response I got was that a request for a refund was denied but I do not at all recall receiving any request for information for them to access my account so which information had been used? ,I then sent an email again that was Thursday in the Am's at around 7am an email (Which I now strongly believe is an automated response) stating I should wait for 24 hours I have not received any request for account information or even feedback about my query although 24 hours has now long lasped,I have just started working and I was not even given a chance to find my feet ,Or to make proper arrangements ,I would like to understand how the amount debited seems logical and fair ,due to this mess in a day or two I will not be able to even get to work ,means tests are done when credit is provided why Is that not considered when set of debit orders are done? Why has Standard once again proven to me that they are a bank of vultures been using this bank since I was in high school I am dismayed by their query resolution and the manner in which they handled this ,I am human I need to bath, eat, get to work but do I do that without any funds in my account? How do I retain my job so that I can make my credit up to date? I really need some of the funds refunded back to me ,the maximum allowed for set off debit orders is 60% but that amount is much more...I am having sleepless nights stressing about getting by with the little that I have to make payment to all my creditors for Standard Bank to pull such . please assist with the above as it's gone too far now.
