Service fee charged ********ly

About a month ago I was ********ly charged an amount of almost R7000 for an EFT that was done by my business banker. My banker never informed or warned me of the fee and even admitted that the fee does not appear in their pricing guide and that it is not readily available on their website. She has even refused to give me a copy of the document wherein the fee is described as it is "an internal document and not a document which can hand out to our customers." I find it very strange that Standard Bank can unilaterally decide what they want to charge me when other financial services providers have to, BY LAW, advise clients up front of the costs involved. Other questions have also gone unanswered. My complaint was escalated to their complaints department and on 6 March 2017 I was advised that the turnaround time would be 5-10 working days. Then on 20 March 2017 I was asked to allow them until 27 March to resolve this. Then on 27 March they advised that it will be resolved earliest! The service I have received is pathetic to say the least! Just another example of how you are just another number!
