Service at Standard Bank

As a Prestige Customer with Standard Bank over decades I still get treated almost like a peasant. I do not even want to comment about the the Montana Park, Pretoria branch as it just revolts me. I rather travel to the Menlyn Campus, Pretoria where I have after years, finally been give a dedicated consultant who is very professional. I must say this did not come easy it took years of backwards and forwards communication with numerous people and divisions at Standard Bank

Where are the days where you had a dedicated consultant that could help you with any service requirement (from current account, to credit card to bond). Now each one has blinkers on and can only help you with their small portfolio. You get shunted from person to person if you have multiple things to sort out at Standard Bank Montana. As for the Call Centres the consultants are absolutely useless. It is easier to talk to a brick wall. However that is if you lucky enough to get through to a consultant at a call centre. You usually only get to know what number you are in the queue. Time for change
