Serisha Ajodaparsad from Standard Bank personal lending tries to bully clients.

Had to deal with Serisha Ajodaparsad from personal lending about a student loan that I am surety for, in order to arrange a payment plan since capital was due. She was absolutely horrible and tried to bully me to picking an option over the phone. She couldn't even read the options right and kept messing up leaving me very confused. I asked her to send me the options via email so I could look it over and see what fit my budget, she basically said I had to commit then and there. I told her no and she asked me if I'm in a financial situation which has nothing to do with my request to look the options over. The whole thing was her trying to back me into a corner acting like I don't pay back my credit when I have been a client with Standard bank for years and have never missed any payment.

She finally yielded and said she'd send me the email and asked me the best time to call I gave her Wednesday and she said she'd call on Monday. This woman was just unpleasant. I rep**** on the email and asked her to never speak to me like that again and she never responded and instead had someone else call me. No apology, nothing. I later do my calculation to find out that there's an extra R300 that's added on the installment that I was not aware of. Turns out that this was insurance added without my knowledge, it was never explained to me, the interest + insurance was grouped together as "interest", in a dishonest manner, it was never given to explained to me as an option. I will find this woman's manager, they need to address her attitude.
