Serious Service Gaps and Poor NPO Support
On 5 June 2026 at 15:11, I emailed our NPO banker requesting urgent assistance with changing signatories on our organisation’s account. To date, I have received no response, despite the matter being time-sensitive due to funding application deadlines.
On 8 June 2026, I called *** for help. I requested to be directed to our NPO banker, but the agent attempted to assist without sufficient knowledge and I was not properly escalated. The call ended without resolution.
Our branch is in Sandton City, while we are currently working from our satellite office in Matimatolo. The nearest support offered is Greytown, which has no business banking consultant, leaving us with limited options other than travelling to Pietermaritzburg or waiting for availability.
This lack of accessible and timely support is very disappointing for an NPO that depends on urgent banking services. I request urgent assistance and escalation of this matter.
This is not the level of service we strive for.
We understand your frustration and are here to help.
We can assure you that your matter is now in the right hands.
Our team will be in touch.
Kindest regards,
