Savings over the counter costs

Hi. I am totally repulsed by Standard bank. My wife has been getting R1000 deducted from her account every month for her savings. Yesterday, she had an emergency and needed access to her money immediately. Because she didn't give a 32 day notice, Standard Bank said they will take R400 just for the face that she took money over the counter. I'D like to know STANDARD BANK, how do you go from charging R200 over the counter just a few months ago, to charging R400. What is the R400 for? Is it your money? Disgusting!
