Sales Credit card application

I app**** for a credit card quotation done and accepted was asked to send payslip of which I did even thou i am banking with them, no feedback was given and I decided to contact the bank to find out? lady told me that it was declined reason being I am self employed. Explained that i am no longer self employed and when I opened a bank account with them they requested proof of employment and I gave them. She said sorry lets us do the application again, i agreed. Application done quotation accepted and I noted that interest charged has also increased on the new quotation? in any case sent payslips as she requested still no feedback to date? I am becoming unhappy with the level of service I am getting from Standard bank..What is going......hope some one will get back to me and tell me exact im sick of this nonsense
