Ridiculous home loan interest rate for a loyal customer!

Dear Standard bank,

I have been a loyal customer for more than 10 years and all my financial products (savings, Cheque- overdraft, credit card, personal loan, ucount) are with standard bank. My husband and I app**** for our first time buyer home loan through various banks. Fnb and standard-bank responded. Being a long-term standard-bank customer to my mind I thought having all these standard-bank products will enhance my chances of getting the most reasonable interest rate, part of their company`s customer retaining strategy.

I am highly disappointed as standard bank proposed 11.71% interest rate while FNB is at 10.95% with a chance to go even lower. After all the years I spent being a loyal customer it comes to nothing.
