REPORTING A *****ULANT CASE WITH STANDARD BANK

I, DR NONDUMISO KOBO, reported ********** transactions that took place on my Standard bank Account on the morning of the 14/11/2018 between 06h41 and 06h45 , a some of R17200.00 , R15700.00 and R10.500 were transferred from my account by EFT. Immediately after +- 5 minutes ,I received a message on my mobile phone that my Card has been blocked due to suspicious transactions.

This amazed me , that the bank can allow such huge amount of money to go through, because, according to my understanding,as a private banker, my bank, ie the ***** department is supposed to be on the alert for such occurrences. Worse part of it when I called immediately, a gentleman by the name of Mr Ndzolo, assured me that the case is reported and he gave me a Case No. and promised that the investigating officer will come back to me soon with the outcome of the investigation. To my surprise , there was no correspondence until I called on the 19/11/2018.

On the 20/11/2018 at roundabout 12h04 ,a lady by the name Mary called, only to tell me that the case was reported to the wrong department , and i was given a second case no. and told to wait for the investigating process. To cut the long story short, on the 27/11/2018, I received a call from the bank that my money can not be refunded,because it was transferred through to a Luno account, and used to buy BITCOINS.

I was devastated with the outcome of the investigation,an decided to send an email to voice out my dissatisfaction through to the standard bank and asked the bank to take this case up to the internal bank ombudsman. I sent this email on the 05/12/2018, no response until today. I am appealing to you Sir/Madam to kindly assist me on this issue. To lose R43000.00 during that time of the year left me frustrated and depressed, not knowing what to do, until I got an advice that I should write to you for help I can even forward you the email I sent to Standard bank on the 05/12/2018.
