Remove funds and closing of account

My husband passed away 3 months ago and Sanlam, the ececutor of the estate, requested Standard bank to send the funds in his acc and close the account. Instead of closing his acc, they went and removed all the funds from my acc, the spouse, and closed the acc. Our initials and ID nrs are worlds apart. I realised the next day that I had no funds in my acc and it was closesd. Struggled the whole day to reach the proper people who just apologised and reopened the acc but the funds can take up to 10 days to return. I am a single mother and this is my day to day acc. How must I survive with no money and the best they can do is apologise and offer me an overdraft. How does a st bank employee remove money from a client's acc without permission? I am extremely upset at the pathetic service of st bank. They mess up,inconvenience your life and all you get is a sorry. I need someone to convince me that ST bank is a trustworthy institution and that their staff know what they are doing...as i dont trust them anymore.
