Refusing Paying Money Back
I received an email stating that I need to redeem my U-count rewards from Standard Bank.
As I logged on it took me to my internet banking site and I logged on as normal not suspecting anything as i went in my phone revealed that someone bought airtime from my account and I even have the number even though I phoned straight away and laid the complaint. The guy helping me on the 7th of March said that it was a **** email but that they will do a ***** case.

After numerous calls to them today 12 April got through to them again where the guy first said that the money will be refunded back into my account. 5 min later phoned me back and said that they are not going to refund me, as I have opened the email and that the person buying the airtime did not breach any personal detail. And that Standard Bank will not be refunding me at all.

I am very disappointed as a client of their for 13 years I feel that they as a bank cant even do a refund in my favor as I responded to an email from my own bank never thinking that it might be a **** and what about this guy who bought the airtime he gets Scott free even though they got his number.

I feel that I am being treated unfairly by my bank.
